The analysis of a local med spa's website aimed to identify and resolve usability issues that hindered customer engagement. By conducting usability tests and accessibility assessments, obstacles in navigation, mobile compatibility, and call-to-action placements were addressed. Key technologies included heat mapping and mobile testing tools, which helped prioritize user-centric design changes. Through this project, Leyna developed a foundational understanding of UI/UX principles, learning the critical importance of clear information flow and accessible navigation in digital spaces.

Blog Series

In creating a blog series for the med spa, the goal was to enhance brand voice through engaging and informative content. Extensive research on industry-specific blog styles shaped the posts, and A/B testing provided insight into audience preferences, which refined tone and messaging. Leyna utilized WordPress and Canva for layout and visual design, strengthening her skills in brand storytelling and digital content creation. This project deepened her understanding of the importance of audience analysis and iterative feedback in crafting content that resonates with readers.

Ignite Talk Presentation

The Ignite Talk project was a fast-paced presentation designed to showcase content strategy and web analysis proposals. Developing a structured yet energetic presentation required Leyna to align her pacing with the format of Ignite Talks, and she practiced intensively to maintain a strong narrative. Challenges included condensing complex ideas into concise points and ensuring audience engagement. Peer feedback proved instrumental in fine-tuning the delivery, underscoring the importance of adaptability and clarity in professional presentations.
